Thrilled to be collaborating with the Migration Network for an event around ‘Migration in rural and coastal heritage/Arts: Linking landscapes, sharing stories’
This event which is being held on September 22nd looks at connecting artists, institutions, organisations academics to talk and share stories. It will address a key gap – a lot of the Migration Network activity so far has been focused on cities and major towns where migration is more ‘visible’ and explicit in GLAM spaces and collections. It has less served those working in rural and coastal settings where this work is very important but often more challenging/isolated. We hope to Inspire people with new ideas/approaches, Connect people for learning and/or collaborations, Build confidence and solidarity & Share further networks/support ideas.
